Aleksandra Lewicki is Research Associate at the Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship at the University of Bristol. Her PhD examined integration policies in Germany and Great Britain as to their capacity to problematize and address cultural, economic and political structural inequalities that affect Muslim communities. She has also conducted research on the Polish community in Bristol and Sheffield. She is the author of the monographs Souveränität im Wandel (2006) and Social Justice through Citizenship? The politics of Muslim integration in Germany and Great Britain (forthcoming 2014).
